EDINBURGH PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS FOR VIV GROSKOP
I was absolutely thrilled to work with Journalist, Author and Comedian Viv Groskop on the materials for her debut Edinburgh Fringe show this year. With fantastic photography by Idil Sukan, Viv really made some waves this year and had terrific reviews.
I'm part of a creative agency called KissLabs, based between Hong Kong, New Zealand and me in the UK. We produce great work for a variety of clients and start-ups. Here's a recent project, with the website still in development. I'll show you the chosen logo and website, then a few concepts that didn't make the cut below.
INITIAL LOGO CONCEPTS
Here are some of the initial logo design ideas, not many of them made it into the final presentation!
I was recommended to University College Hospital London and briefed to produce a 12 page brochure with a perforated donation form inside it. This was going to be the programme for a huge charity event, hosted by a member of the royal family. The only problem? The event was less than a week away and the content wasn't ready! As the content filtered through, I advised that it would be better to make the brochure 16 pages long instead of 12 and rather than have a perforated form at the back, produce this as a separate sheet on a nice bond paper, which would be easier to write on and allow for more donation forms than brochures. This would also help with last minute print production! It was a happy ending, the job was produced on time and on budget, with a very happy client.
An ongoing project for Story Productions, a production and media company based in Brazil. Taking the logo and slowly developing a new brand identity through adding content and copy to their website, advertising, marketing and social media (facebook, twitter, linked-in, instagram).
"I love the creativity and the way everything is gelling together as a consistent message."
